Concert / Festival outfits

Outfits made for standing all night.

Concert outfits have to survive standing for five hours, a crowd and probably weather. Emily's rule: nothing that needs adjusting. That usually means a denim short or a leather-look trouser, a top that stays put, a crossbody bag and a boot or sneaker you've already broken in. Layers matter because venues are freezing until they're not. There's room for sparkle and fringe here — it's the one place they read completely normal — but the base of it is always something you can move in.

Across her concert / festival edits, the stores she pulls from most are Revolve and Amazon — so if you're only going to check one place, start there.

Concert / Festival questions, answered

What do you wear to a concert?
Something you can stand and dance in for hours: a comfortable bottom, a secure top, a crossbody bag and broken-in boots or sneakers.
What shoes for a festival?
A worn-in boot or a chunky sneaker. Emily never links a new shoe for a festival — blisters ruin the day.
Where does she shop for these?
Revolve and Free People for the festival-leaning pieces, Zara and Amazon for the practical layers.
